The FoldAR upper receiver holds the core of our folding barrel interface technology, making the AR-15 the most modular it has ever been. Our latest generational improvements include a quick-change barrel system, allowing tool-less caliber/barrel swaps faster and more reliably than any other takedown weapon system.

Create and configure your ideal weapon system package with the FoldAR Barrel Assembly add-ons. The FoldAR Barrel Assembly is interchangeable within seconds, allowing you to configure an “all-applications” weapon system kit within one easily transportable package.

Important Notes:

• FoldAR Barrel Systems are only for owners of a 2023 [MoBetta]-Present FoldAR firearm or complete upper.
• Not interchangeable with third part upper receivers or 2018-2022 FoldAR products.
• Swapping between .300 AAC Blackout and 5.56×45 NATO does not require a bolt/BCG swap.
• Swapping between 6.5Gren/6ARC/7.62×39 and 300Blk/5.56NATO requires a bolt/BCG swap.

One Rifle – Barrel Selection Guidelines:

• 9.0″ – Our most popular barrel length for CQB-work because of its ability to remain suppressed while maintaining concealability (Colion Noir) within a small 16″ EDC sling-pack. Combined with a collapsed stock or pistol brace and a compact suppressor, our 9.0″ barrel allows the weapon system to fold in half at 14.75″.
• 10.5″ – As the newest addition to our barrel lengths, the 10.5″ barrel matches nicely with a standard carbine stock or pistol brace and compact suppressor, also allowing the weapon system to fold in half at 14.75″.
• 12.5″ – Because of its mid-range capability while maintaining concealability within a small 16″ EDC sling-pack, or suppressed within a standard 18″ backpack, our 12.5″ barrel configuration dominates in performance and concealability. Combined with a collapsed stock or pistol brace, our 12.5″ barrel allows the weapon system to fold in half, at 14.75″. Note: this setup fits in most 18″ EDC packs when a compact suppressor is installed.
• 16.0″ – (Rifles) Our most popular among civilians, marksmen and hunters because of its Always-Non-NFA legal status, its capabilities of performing at distance with precision (Alabama Arsenal), and its ability to continuously return to zero (Pew Pew Tactical). Combined with a collapsed stock, our 16.0″ barrel allows the weapon system to fold slightly over half, at 17.75″. When a full-length fixed rifle stock is attached, it folds in half at 17.75″.

One Rifle – Caliber Selection Guidelines:

• 5.56×45 NATO – We chamber and identify our barrel as .223 Wylde, as the best chamber design to safely and precisely accept a variety of both .223 Remington and 5.56×45 NATO ammunition. Choose this caliber for the widest availability of affordable ammunition for training to precision hunting, as well as various Law Enforcement and Defense applications. (Proof Research Carbon Fiber optional for 12.5″ and 16″ barrels)
• .300 AAC Blackout – 300BLK for its wide spectrum of performance in delivering suppressed energy.
• 7.62×39 – x39 for its higher ballistic energy and its general availability (10.5″ only).
• 6.5 Grendel – 6.5 Grendel for its stability and higher energy delivery and at distance (16″ only).
• 6mm ARC – Exclusively within our Proof Research Carbon Fiber line of barrels, 6ARC is selected for its high performance at distance (16″ only; however, other lengths and calibers are available upon request).
